HEADTEACHER TO HOST BEST PERFORMING STUDENTS ON 20th September 2019
In his maiden end of term speech during the last assembly as students prepared to got home for second term holidays on 19th August 2019, the Headteacher praised the Almighty God for having ushered the entire school safely thus far.
He thanked all the stakeholders including BOG, PTA, KASSOBA, teaching and non teaching staff, the parents, the surrounding community members and the general students body for creating an enabling study environment as we rebuild a new Kabalega SS.
All the students attentively listened as the Headteacher Mr. Tumwesige Andrew gave his counsel on how to help parents while at home in this tough economic times, on taking care in an era of HIV/AID and the hostile environment as the youth are bombarded by a lot of distractors.
The Deputy Headteacher in charge of Academics Mr. Karuima Edward had earlier on read out the names of the best performing learners per class and those who are to be given bursaries come next term. The bursary is competitive and one loses it if they don’t maintain it in the following term. The Ag. Deputy Headteacher also informed the learners to be consistent in their academic work and also make good friends as they stay here at school.
The Headboy also cautioned his fellow students to be very careful at home and thanked God for seeing us through the term without any serious health issues.
The Headteacher in his conclusion announced that the best performing students would be hosted to a dinner at Masindi Hotel next term and encouraged others always to perform better as the opportunity and room for improvement is never full. The students will report back on 16th September 2019.
S4 UCE exams are slated to start on 11th October 2019.
